Voiceover Casting

Voiceover casting through 80+ talent agencies.

Stop emailing agents one by one and managing Dropbox chaos. Agents submit curated auditions straight to one organized playlist your whole team can access. You set the deadline — as early as same day.

$450 flat per project. Unlimited voiceover roles. No actor subscriptions, ever.

Who can submit to your casting
The talent agency gate
  • Anyone with a paid subscription
  • Out-of-spec reads sent on spec
  • Hobbyists calling themselves actors
  • Keyword matching by algorithm
  • Represented voice talent, submitted by their agent
Ask for “female, 30s, warm” and that’s what arrives. Agents do the quality control.

The three ways to cast VO

Two of them cost you an afternoon.

Doing it yourself and using a pay-to-play platform fail in opposite directions — too little organization, or too much unfiltered volume. Both end the same way.

On your own

Email the agents you know and hope
  • Email 10 agents individually
  • Manage 10 Dropbox links
  • Rename every file by hand
  • Build a playlist, forward it around
  • Answer “which folder was the warm read in?” three times
Multiple hours gone

Pay-to-play platforms

Anyone with a subscription submits
  • 300 auditions from whoever paid this month
  • Wrong ages, wrong tones, wooden reads
  • Hours sorting before you hear a usable take
  • Nobody vouched for any of it
  • The platform earns more when more people submit

Select Casting

Only talent agents can submit
  • One casting sheet reaches every talent agency you pick
  • Agents pre-screen against your actual spec
  • You set the audition limit per role
  • Auditions arrive already organized
  • One link for your team and your client
Under 5 minutes to cast
How it works

One casting call. 80+ voiceover talent agencies. Zero organizing.

Step one

Create your casting call

Under 5 minutes

One form: specs, script, usage, budget, deadline. Choose which talent agencies to invite — a few, or all 80+. Hit Cast.

Step two

Agents submit curated auditions

As early as same day

Agents read your breakdown and submit from their own roster. Ask for female, 30s, warm and that’s what arrives — not out-of-spec actors hoping you’ll like the read. Need it today? Check “Need Auditions ASAP.”

Step three

Review as a team

Instant

Every audition lands on one playlist with the artist’s name, talent agency, and contact. Share one link — creative directors, copywriters, clients — everyone sees the same view. No login required.

Step four

Book direct

Instant

Found your actor? Their agent’s contact info is attached to the audition. You book them directly. We stay out of the way.

Have your specs and scripts ready and you can cast a project in under five minutes. Organizing and sharing: none.

Every talent agency and management company on the platform.

Nationally recognized, union and non-union. Voiceover talent records from wherever they are, so the roster isn’t limited by geography — between them these agencies represent whatever the read calls for.

Pricing

Simple and transparent. One number.

Casting a radio campaign with four roles — announcer, mother, daughter, father? Still $450 total.

$450
Flat, per project
Unlimited voiceover roles. No hidden fees, no per-audition charges, no subscription.

What's included

  • Unlimited roles per project
  • Access to 80+ talent agencies representing professional talent
  • Unlimited auditions from vetted artists
  • Organized playlist with team sharing
  • Same-day capability
  • Direct contact with agents for booking
If you can’t cast it, you’re not invoiced. We bill after a project is finished, not before — so if you don’t receive enough qualified auditions to make a selection, there’s simply nothing to pay and no refund to chase. This is exceedingly rare. When auditions come up short it’s usually because too few talent agencies were invited — and that can always be fixed while the casting is still open.

Questions

Everything producers ask before their first project.

How fast can I get auditions?

You set the due date, and agents work to it. Most casting calls start getting submissions within 2–4 hours regardless of the deadline, so if you need a full turnaround the same day, that’s available. For urgent projects, check “Need Auditions ASAP” when creating your project and agents will prioritize your casting call.

How many talent will audition?

As many as you want. You set the audition limit per talent agency when creating your project. Most clients land around 100 auditions per role, but you’re in complete control — with 80+ talent agencies you can adjust the limits to get exactly the volume you need.

How is this different from Voices.com or Voice123?

Those are pay-to-play platforms where anyone can submit. We work exclusively with professional talent agents who pre-screen submissions, so you get 50–100 curated auditions instead of 300 random ones. The agents do the quality control, so you don’t waste time on submissions that don’t match your specs.

Do you charge actors?

No. We don’t charge actors anything to audition. Direct-to-actor platforms charge actors monthly subscription fees, which gives those platforms every reason to let anyone audition — not just qualified talent. We charge you a flat $450 project fee, so our incentive is delivering auditions you can actually use.

What if I need to cast multiple roles?

It’s a flat $450 per project and you can cast as many voiceover roles as you need within it. A radio campaign needing announcer, mother, daughter and father is still $450 total.

On-camera is also $450 per project and includes up to 10 roles — in practice nobody has come close to that limit.

Can I use this for union talent?

Yes. You specify union (SAG-AFTRA), non-union, or both when creating your casting call, and agents submit accordingly. Many of our talent agencies represent both, so you’ll get submissions appropriate to your project.

Do I need to know which talent agencies to invite?

No. Most producers pick a handful — by city, by language, or the agents they already work with — and each agency’s details are there to make the choice easy. If you’d rather cast the widest net, you can invite all 80+ with a single click, and any agency without a good match simply won’t submit.

Can my whole team review auditions?

Yes. You get one shareable link anyone can open with no login. Team members can listen, leave comments, and favorite auditions. You keep admin control and can see who has listened to what — useful for getting feedback from creative directors, copywriters and clients without email chains.

Can I work with the same actor again?

Absolutely. Once you’ve cast talent through Select Casting you have their contact information and their agent’s details, so you can book them directly next time — or run another casting call if you want options. Many producers build ongoing relationships with talent they find this way.

Do you work with studios for recording?

Yes. Through our sister company Studio Awesome, which is based in Hollywood. We offer integrated cast-record-mix packages covering the casting call, the recording session, and full audio post. You can also use Select Casting purely for casting and work with your own studio.

What if I don’t get enough auditions?

You aren’t invoiced. We bill after the project rather than up front, so if you don’t receive enough qualified auditions to make a selection, there’s nothing to pay and nothing to claim back.

This is exceedingly rare. When auditions do come up short, the cause is almost always too few talent agencies invited — and that can be fixed while the casting is still open, by widening the invite and giving the agents another day.
